What are your views about sex during pregnancy?

I am a student currently on a research project about pregnancy and how women react to sexual intercourse during that period. What are your views about sex during pregnancy? In particular, how do pregnant women react to sex?Thanks!What are your views about sex during pregnancy?Each woman is different and it's different during each trimester.



For me. My husband thinks me being pregnant is a big turn on.



During the first trimester I wasn't intersted because I didn't feel very good most of the time.

During the second trimester I enjoyed it because I felt better and my belly wasn't so big that I couldn't move. It does start to make it a little more challenging because some positions start to be more uncomfortable.

The third trimester I pretty much lost interest because I was pretty uncomfortable. Either I could barely breathe because of my son or he was kicking me in my sciatica. :)



I think that for some women sex drive lowers and others it stays the same.

Also, some women are told by their doctors not to have sex for health reasons.What are your views about sex during pregnancy?
My wife and I really enjoyed it, with both of her pregnancies! Her sexdrive was through the roof, so it really added to the experience. I'm a sucker for girl on top which is one of the few positions that worked as the pregnancy progressed and her tummy got bigger. And for people who answered before me about poking the baby or taking a risk of hurting the baby, you can't hurt the baby by having sex while pregnant.What are your views about sex during pregnancy?I have never been pregnant, let's say it's on the agenda for like in about 2 years if all goes according to "plan"

But I am in a serious commited relationship and so my partner and I have discussed the topic to some extent... he seems freaked out by the idea of sex during pregnancy... I'm more like the people here who say it's wonderful and natural (if you're feeling good and in the mood)... my fiance said he's afraid to "hurt the baby", which at the very least I thought that was a cute response, or that he means well.. but I mean i explained to him that sex can't hurt a baby.. but I dunno what is up with him.. He took biology courses in school, I would have presumed he actually knows you can't hurt the baby... obviously you guys can't guess what's going on in his head... but to the people who have had sex during pregnancy, could you elaborate more on what was good about it... i'm sure my fiance will come around (plus if all goes to plan i've got another year or 2 to convince him lol), but what could i say to him ...
I would say that it is wonderful! Everything is much more sensitive and it's truly wonderful letting go in this most natural state of being. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and so is sex...any man who can appreciate that is a keeper! But sex is a natural relaxer and is great for pregnant women!What are your views about sex during pregnancy?well somebody always tells me, thats its different for everyone, my mom was so moody the whole time she just wanted everyone out of her hair :)

Well, everyone is different. Some women don't like it when they're pregnant so I've been told. I personally am a horny demon most of the time... Now that the belly is getting bigger and in the way its more uncomfortable. I'm turned off by the way my own body looks at this point but there's no slowing down my boyfriend so we find ways to make it as enjoyable for the both of us.

We love sex during pregnancy... finally a chance to relax and enjoy it... I mean... you can't get pregnant any more... and then there is the danger of it all...poking the baby in the eye worries and whatnot, adds a whole new level of russian rullette to the whole experience...

Lol, well, its different for everyone! As for me, not so much sex going on now that I got pregnant...I am just not in the mood anymore...I think it has to do with how I feel about myself and my "pregnant body".

As for my boyfriend, he always wants to have sex, lol.
Sometimes I wanted sex and other times I didn't. I loved not having to worry about protection. My belly got in the way a lot. I also made sure that I had lots before giving birth because they tell you to wait until 6 wks after to have sex again.
with my first pregnancy sex was better then ever this time its a little awkward and my husband wont gimme none lol but no matter what your drive is like every pregnant woman likes it every once in a while and theres nothing wrong with that as long as its not with several different men
im 40 weeks pregnant and i enjoy the sex every once in a while. the belly kinda gets in the way tho. but other then that i like it.
Having sex during pregnancy can be quite enjoyable, if you dont mind the belly getting in the way.

and usually, pregnant women are very horny during pregnancy. all of hte horemones in their body becuase of the changes cause them to be hot, some men even say the best sex they ever had was with their pregnant wife.

overall, its not bad for the baby in any way, its been proven so.
it would be bad because while ur having sex u can hit a nerve and have eternal bleeding and lose ur baby
