And not just the LGBT do/have those things, you know. That's a little insulting, the implication that we're the only ones...What would LGBT people do if same sex marriage was legalized with this conditon?
We as lesbians and LGBT family want to have the right to get married because its a step one takes to show your committment to your mate. It's about the healthcare benefits, 401K, life insurance, etc. Who cares about sex in public places. I don't do that anyway. I just want the right to share my

What would LGBT people do if same sex marriage was legalized with this conditon? You mean if we could be like our str8 counterparts and make use of prostitutes, swingers clubs, triple D breast implant wearing skimpy clothing @ clubs? The question is seriously flawed and makes one wonder if you truly understand heterosexual lifestyle (especially found in urban areas).Report Abuse
This doesn't make much sense since it is overall a non-issue. The vast majority of Lesbians, Gay men, Bisexuals, and transgenders as well as transsexuals do not do any of this anyhow. However if any conditions were to be placed upon one section of our society those same conditions or ones relevant to them must therefore also be enacted. As a result this could never be a possibility since the heterosexuals and cisgender would never accept "terms" with their freedoms and so neither should we!
SharonWhat would LGBT people do if same sex marriage was legalized with this conditon?Since straight people would still continue to have their triple x clothing and lascivious behavior at Mardi Gras, massage parlors or similar venues, prostitution, and sex in public places, I would wonder why gay people would be held to a different standard than straight people in order to obtain a marriage license. What would LGBT people do if same sex marriage was legalized with this conditon?
I don't think it should be any body's business who marries who. Why pass judgment because of someones sexual preference. You don't have to marry that person so why do you care. I just think these people who make it such a big freaking deal have nothing better do to with their life but try to make someone else miserable. And they cant give anyone any conditions they aren'twilling to live by themselves. I have yet to see any lascivious behavior at any gay pride parade, or any sex in public by anyone who is LGBT. The ones who get caught having sex in public are the so called straight people.
All in all. I dont think it's any ones business. And LGBT should have the same rights as everyone else....INCLUDING MARRIAGE!!!!
Sure, married people don't act like that very often anyway. The things you mentioned are extremes of behavior generally done by young single people, driven by alcohol and not run of the mill behavior, for example notice in contrast the quiet decorum and dignified behavior of the participants in the St Patrick's day parade coming up a week from TuesdayWhat would LGBT people do if same sex marriage was legalized with this conditon?
No. To me, marriage is a religious institution which I don't believe in, so I don't care if I never have the opportunity to do so.
Besides I'm in Northern Ireland where we have civil partnerships. So from a legal side, it's as good as marriage.
Sure if straight marriages came with no triple x clothing or lascivous behavior in general, no more brothels or similar venues and no more sex in public places. Oh how you can turn a blind eye to your own behavior when you believe you are mightier than us.
The vast majority of same sex couples already live by those conditions, so what's the problem? And sex in public places? Who's doing that? Oh, I forgot... the married closet cases.
Omg, I can't speak for everyone, but..
I wouldn't want it to be lagalized then!
What if marriage never comes for you! )=
You'd be pretty much screwed over then...
Yup. I'd still want to get married, because even without those conditions, I wouldn't be doing that.

Are straight people restricted on those rules too?
If so, okay.
