How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?

I know that the vampires drink blood, but they don't pump that blood in these novels... I can understand that it's physically possible for them to have sex (Edward is hard as stone, right?) but without blood they can't have vasoconstriction and therefore no release and therefore no orgasm. I don't understand how it can be as great as they say in Midnight sun without orgasm. Any explanations?How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?As much as I love the series...sadly these are one of the things that Stephenie doesn't really explain. (which irritates me)

I'm guessing he's just always hard and walks around with his junk, adjusted to his waistband.

lol

No seriously it doesn't make sense compare to other vampires...However since the venom replaces all the blood in his body-then that is what might be rushing through, huh?

So making love would be the same...just with venom instead. And since venom is more stronger than blood...orgasms might be much more powerful *wink*

(But then again it's just a story, and we shouldn't take things so serious..)

I mean ifs theres vampires that fricking sparkle!

then we might as well believe all the shinanigans of Edward and Bella have sex and him impregnating her.How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?

How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?Holy crap I thought the exact same thing. An erection is only possible when blood engorges the... and I don't see how he could ejaculate with out any liquids in him. Maybe the blood he drinks helps with all that, but then it wouldn't really be sperm or anything shooting out so she couldn't become pregnant. I also don't see how he could with Bella, because it seems like he would hurt her; I mean even mortal men can hurt women's coochies by being too rough. It seems like her va-jj would be torn apart.

I guess in Stephenie Meyer's fantasy world anything is possible. Can't wait for the Movies!!! How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?
Honestly, you might as well try to analyze every vampire book to ever exist. You have to employ 'suspension of disbelief'. Sort of like when you're watching a movie and one guy with a handgun manages to take out six other guys who have assault rifles. Just smile, nod, and ignore the impossibilities if you're enjoying the rest of it.

Of course, the fact that Edward is "hard as stone" could have something to do with it. =pHow does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?It's just a story, it's like asking how come kids on soap operas grow up to adulthood in less than ten years. It's just a story and you have to accept the writer's world sometimes.How does vampire sex work in the Stephanie Meyer novels?
Twilight = No Logic.
Are you a scientist, read the books and it'll explain it to you, very clearly i mite add.
