As i sit up here in my room online and look up into the stars thru my window, I cant help but wonder what other form of Carbon based (or non-carbon) life forms may exist in our universe. Just imagine it, our solar system has 9 or more planets that orbit our sun. Pluto is by study our farthest planet from the sun, and is more then 2.66 Billion miles from earth. That amount of distance is un-imaginable in human standards. Now our solar system is one of 300-400+ other solar systems in our galaxy (the milky way) our galaxy is one of 300-400+ other galaxies in the entire universe. and that is just what Nasa has discovered. Their is most def. more. Now since we have 9 planets, lets just say this is the same for all other solar systems in our galaxy, that would be 9x400= 3,600 planets in our galaxy. in the universe would be 3,600x400= 1,440,000.....WOW....it would be just so unfathomable to believe that we are the only planet harboring life much like our own in this vast universe. I mean wouldnt it be cool to one day travel to another planet much like our own, and meet others humans like us? or say not like us? it just boggled my mind for awhile. So I thought I would share. And ask you believers, and non-believers. What if?? are we alone in the Universe??We cant possibly be alone in the Universe can we?
i agree with you..infact statistically it is 100% probable that life exists on other planets..and scientists predict that it might be in our own solar system..for example jupiter has one moon named europa..itss completely covered with an icy layer miles thick..but europa still has a unknown heat source..so scientists predict that beneath the icy layer there might be organisms..bizarre ones who have never seen sunlight..who are oblivious to the vastness of the universe outside since they are subterrenean...
then just imagine if we leave our solar system then also there are more than a billion trillion stars there harbouring trillions of planets..some of them might have life..so vastly different from us..they might be living in an ocean of nitrogen or they might be air borne surviving in a gas planet like jupiter..the possibilities are endless..but one thing is for sure..there are planets out there who harbour life..itss just we are yet to know about them...they might be primitive or might be far more advanced in ways that are unfathomable to us..they might be already in their way looking for us..who knows?..
this subject really interests me too..good question.
Great question pal! But if people did exist in other planets they would have set up solar system tracking like we have to able to track movement from other planets. The consensus is they are just dark empty places but maybe we as humans are more advanced technologically then say the Martians that could be inhabiting those planets. We cant possibly be alone in the Universe can we?
The distance to other life forms is just too great until we can warp space and time. You best just concentrate on the life forms living in your rug and mattress for now. They're the ones you need to be concerned about.
No there is a theory that was on the history channel about ancient aliens and how they genetically engineered us from apes. You can read more about our alien friends at

It's improbable that we're alone in the universe... also, I believe there was news of possible fossils on Mars a month ago...
double check your numbers on solar systems and galaxies, Senior Hubble has rewritten the book. I'm pretty sure both of those numbers should be in the billions
You are not alone. Sometimes I wonder if God got mad at us and went to another planet and started life there and they did not sin so He forgot about us and prefer His new creation. Wouldn't that make a good movie?
We are not alone but don't expect the neighbours to drop in any time soon. They live in a galaxy far far away.
No we are not alone!!!
At least we got each other, right?
Baba Vanga, a well known Bulgarian prophet (Adolf Hitler once paid a visit to her), made predictions on human life and contacts with the outer world as well violent outbreaks. Here's what she had to say:

From she says, it seems like we'll be contacting outer life very soon. I have always believed that there is something out there. Even Stephen Hawking had this to say about alien contact: "If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans." Only tell will tell if there is really other forms of life out there. I'm actually excited, as corny as that sounds. Have a nice day!
