Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy?

Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy?

I met a girl in a bar last night. I like her and we are planning to go on a date. After we made plans to go out, she told me she has Epilepsy.

If things work out and we get to the point where we want to have sex, would that be advisable and safe?Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy? It is completely safe. If you are going to date her at all (sex or not), you need to accept that she can handle herself and she knows her limits. If you dance around trying to protect her from everything, she's going to dump you quickly. Your concern is understandable because you don't know about the disease.

Think about it this way. If you were dating a woman who was very short, you might be worried that she can't see in a movie theater. You can say, "Do you want to see the new Whatever movie?" and trust that she will say no if it will be a problem. If you start asking if she's sure if it's OK, because it can be hard to see, and you aren't sure if she's tall enough ans is she sure it will be OK, then she's not going to be happy about it.

Same thing with epilepsy. If she says that she needs to get a drink to take her pills, then you get a drink, but you don't have to ask her every half hour if she remembered her pills.

Bottom line: There isn't much you can do that will trigger a seizure. If you flash a strobe light in her face, that will increase her chances, but that's about the only thing you could do that would increase her chance of a seizure (and not all people with epilepsy respond to flashing lights). Sex, exercise, and food are all fine.Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy?
Sure it is. If she has a seizure around you, just hold her head up so it won't bang on any hard floor. Don't try to stick anything in her mouth. The thing about swallowing one's own tongue is a myth. If you try to stick anything in her mouth, you'll get badly bitten. She probably has a bite stick for when she senses a seizure is coming on.

I knew a guy who said his wife had epilepsy, and the sex was great when she had a seizure. He said it was like she was a human vibrator and he didn't have to do anything. Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy?Although I don't condone what you're planning, here is a link to answer your question. Is it safe to have sex with someone who has epilepsy?
