Safe sex should be taught although discouraged more yes; but is there something else we can do to stop young people from reproducing way before they are ready; and to stop young females from having abortions every time they %26amp; their male counterparts make a 'mistake'? All this costs so much money %26amp; the system just offers %26amp; almost encourages discreet abortions for irresponsibility %26amp; welfare for live born babies.
It's like they are rewarded for this kind of behavior.
What can be done? What is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions? Why depend on the public school system? My parents told me sex=babies when I was 9 years old. When I became sexually active at 15, mom took me to the Dr for Birth Control and I got a lifetimes worth of condoms.
Communication between parent and child is vital. The kid must feel comfortable to talk to their parents. And the Parents must be the ones to open the communication. You get the social problems we have today by the parents waiving their responsibilities and giving them to the school system.
Parental responsibility is the key. Parents who avoid their responsibilities toward their children should not be parents to begin with, and the root of their problems stem from their parents irresponsibility....and so on and so on. Having a child is a lifelong responsibility and commitment, not to be given up when the child hits school age. What is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions?
It is called using a condom and contraceptives. PUt females on the pill has soon as they hit that time in their life. Other than that you cant control what they do with guys. What is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions?Birth control.
They've been doing sex education since I was a kid (a few decades ago) and it hasn't done much to curb teen pregnancy. In fact, teen pregnancy has risen sharply over the last two decades. What is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions?yea teach sex education that says sex before marriage is wrong,
this beautiful gift of God is not provided for humans for merely pleasureWhat is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions?
Yes -- birth control.
p.s. your avatar is hilarious -- LMAO
Make people pay for their kids. What is another way that will work along with sex education to prevent abortions?
Improve education. The higher the level of education for girls the later they tend to start families. If we reduce our relatively high drop put rate, it will likely correlate to a reduction in teen pregnancies.
Patrotism is not a sin: You don't know what you are talking about. Teen pregnancy is DOWN, not up over the past 15 years.
You can't control puberty. The little heathens will experiment with sex whether we like it or not. Best thing is what we are doing. Then if they choose to make whoopie what can you do? Life is full of decisions.
Give them condoms. It will lower the pregnancy rate but it will never stop it.
Pregnancy is like the world oldest profession - it is here to stay.
We need to give the women viable options. Better support so that they can keep the babies or easier ways to give the babies up.
Stop requiring as a matter of law that kids be lied to about such things.
That'll never happen unless you stop voting for Democrats first.
I have no problem with teaching Sex-Ed.As for what else can be done,I would start with making getting an Abortion more difficult, and more costly.
For one,no minor should ever be able to obtain an Abortion without Parental Consent.Along with perhaps some sort of required Counseling,on options to Abortion for one.Perhaps they will jump through any hoops you create, and still get the Abortion. But perhaps if they knew all their options, rather than just what they are told at Planned Infanticide, they might also choose to put their child up for Adoption,or keep it.
And perhaps if they knew it would be more difficult to obtain an Abortion, they might actually think about using a Condom from time to time. It's pretty pathetic to see a society consider the cold-blooded murder of a fellow human being as a viable solution for irresponsibility.

Yes we could make abortion illegal and support mandatory even if the child is adopted, from both parents When you make people responsible for their actions their actions change.
That is a good question and who knows these things. It is as old as time if you leave a boy and a girl alone with to much freedom what do people think is going to happen.
As a man I know how I was at 16 and what was on my mind. My neighbors 14 year old daughter is pregnant and mom acted so surprised by it. She let her Daughters boy friend spend the night and was surprised by the out come.
The solution I have no clue, but encouraging the behavior and giving kids a easy way out isn't a solution! What ever happened to you play you pay mentality.
Anyone who had ever experienced abortion or early pregnancy would not be describing either as a "reward."
The way to discourage people from taking a risk is to give them a bright future that could be jeorpardized by taking that risk. The prospect of 50 years of low paid unskilled work and chronic unemployment isn't such that a lively teen is going to worry about "messing up" that future. Young people with a realistic and realizable prospect of enjoying a satifying and well paying career are much more likely to be careful not to "mess up" that future.
Hater, read the article
It says rates are down in that county, but up pretty much every where else and it only decreased a tenth of a point
Even Fox News admits rates have been going up significantly
I blame abstinence education
