Is it possible to run World of Warcraft offline?!?

Ok, like 10million others out there I love World of Warcraft, it's a great game that continues a great story line that I've been following since the 90's. However, sad to say I am more of a one man gamer and not really into the whole "online" gaming experience. Some parts of the game are impossible to reach without the right group and I will more than likely never see any of the higher level instances.



I've seen vid's on youtube of people playing World of Warcraft offline. Sometimes doing amazing things like levelling up on command and completing hard dungeons with one solo character.



I realise that some sort of mind boggling software re-writing process is involved but where would you even get started with something like that?!Is it possible to run World of Warcraft offline?!?
i only play on private servers but the online private servers with like 1000 ppl only.



on the other hand my friend who is amazing with computers made his own private server that he could play offline. so basically you have to make your own private server if you want to play offline

btw this also explains the leveling on comand and what not..if your the only one on the server you become the Game master who can do pretty much anything they want
no you have to play online and yes you can play for free on a privet server. witch normally has only like 300 people on them. and seeing your not using there software to connect to world of warcraft there is now way form them to tell you are not using it to there standers. they get 1 bill a year F them.Is it possible to run World of Warcraft offline?!?
It's a private server I think you are seeing. I don't think it's even legal to make one.

That's not playing the game, that's just cheating on a private server...I fail to see the point of that...you won't ever be able to take any of that information back to the live servers...what's the point?Is it possible to run World of Warcraft offline?!?
that is a private server or that person tested a GM so... no u can't run WoW offline. doing it without the online game experience takes away the fun of the game.
