Laptop recommendations?

Im on the market for a new laptop because my desktop just broke. I would like to keep it under $500. I was looking online and there are soooo many options it boggles my mind. Can anyone tell me what is the best laptop for the price? Thanks!!!Laptop recommendations?
I like Dell and Toshiba.



I'd suggest the Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4056. 14 in. screen, and plenty of room (storage) to play with. 2.4 GHz Turion II Dual-Core Mobile Processor P540 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 500 GB storage.



The other is a Dell, Dell Vostro V13. It's smaller, and cheaper at $399. 13 in screen, 1.3 GHz Intel庐 Core鈩?2 Duo (SU7300) processor, 4 GB ram, and 500 GB storage.



Both are good choices that are just off the top of my head. I think if you can figure more specifically what specs you are looking for than it will be easier to find a laptop that is perfect for you and your needs.
